- note: there are some concrete posts on the trail which are 37 inches apart

- access restrooms are located at the Amenia Trailhead and the Coleman Station Trailhead

- note from Chris- This park was specifically designed for people with disabilities to enjoy the outdoors and outdoor activities.  I haven't been there but really want to try it.  It looks amazing!

- 5 miles of accessible trails; per website, "The steepest grade is 8% over a very short section of the trail.  Most of the trails are under a 6 % grade."

- Per Stephen, "trails are made of compacted stone with some boardwalks in wet areas."

- camping is available by reservation in lean-tos which are, according to the website, "fully accessible either by ramp or transfer from a wheelchair and are equipped with a fold-down bed, fireplace and picnic table"

- wheelchair accessible pontoon boat rides available

- canoe/kayak dock has removeable wood bumpers to allow transfer from boat
