Ozaukee Interurban Trail- Ozaukee County just north of Milwaukee

this 30 mile paved trail runs from southern Mequon north through Ozaukee County to north

of Belgium 

- "the majority of this trail is off-road and perfect for family enjoyment"

- used by hikers, runners, bicyclists and skaters

- includes bridges over the Milwaukee River

- designated as a "Great Wisconsin Birding Trail"

"The trail is plowed and kept up at all times.  It is used by cross-country skiers and walkers and runners in the winter."

Glacial Drulmin Trail

- trail runs from Cottage Grove, which is 5 miles east of Madison, east to Waukesha, which is 10 miles west of Milwaukee (see below for map link)

- there is a steep incline near the trailhead in Cottage Grove; the remainder of the trail has less than a 1% incline

- this 52 mile trail consists of 13 paved miles and 39 miles of crushed limestone surface trail

- accessible restrooms are along the trail in most towns

Schlitz Audubon Nature Center- Handicapped Accessible Loop   north of Milwaukee

Lapham Peak- in the Southern Unit of the Kettle Moraine State Forest

directions: "The park is one mile south of I-94 on couty Highway C, south of Delafield"
